1 Corinthians 4:20 says For the Kingdom of God is not in word but in power. Paul said to the Corinthians that in my teaching I do not come to you with persuasive words but I came with demonstration of power and the spirit.  His teaching was not just words because he was demonstrating the Kingdom. We too as Christians are representatives of the Kingdom and we need to demonstrate the power.

God would like us all to arise and be true representatives in demonstrating the power of the kingdom of Christ.  There has to be clear signs in our works that we are true representatives of the Kingdom. If you are believing for a scholarship, you‘ll get it. Even in our ministries we should do our best.  In all our works, whatever field we are in,  we need to excel.  If it is healing, excel in healing so that when people are looking for healing, your name shall be looked for.

There is no power minus authority.  If you have power you have authority.  Take for instance the traffic officers on the road; you may see a small woman, but when she raises her hand to a big truck, it stops.  We need to understand our authority for us to clearly demonstrate the power. In Luke 10 Jesus gave them power to heal people, chase out demons; he gave them the authority. He did not say first call me to chase out the devil.  If someone is bewitching you, you should not cry out, just stand in your authority and reject it. Number 23:23 says there is no sorcery against Jacob, nor any divination over Israel.  You are not like your ancestors or any of your family members. Jesus has given you the power to trample over scorpions.  Look at Psalms 91, the Lord has made a number of promises, you need to walk in those promises and be happy.  Goodness and mercy shall follow you all the days of your life. There is no need for you to be stressed. We need to rejoice in the house of the Lord. When you rejoice in the Spirit, mountains are leveled. As you rejoice, your debtors pay you, your bills are settled.  Now why worry? I reject stress in the name of Jesus.  This year you shall have your house. You shall live as a King or Princess. You are great. Whatever happened to you in the previous year shall not come to you.

Here in the prophetic fellowship, we look at you and see light.  You may have a lot of disappointments but when we look at you we see hope, we bring light into your life and tell you it’s not yet over. Some of you may have friends who are just parasites and leave after draining you. May God send you someone that is meant to raise you up to where you are meant to be; they shall not rest until you are where you are supposed to be. They will raise your arms like they raised Moses’ arms until you fulfill your purpose in this world.  You are a child of God and Uganda, East Africa and the world should know that you are a child of God. Refuse to speak or entertain any kind of calls that are not of the Kingdom. If today fails, believe tomorrow is a new day. Every day that comes, comes with a blessing. Do not see yourself in the failures of yesterday.  I decree in the name of Jesus that we walk in this power and understand this power.  We need to understand the power of his resurrection and then things shall change.  The Kingdom of God is demonstrated when demons are cast out – Luke 11. 

We need to use the authority to speak to circumstances, demons and all negative situations around us. Last week we shared that the devil is a thief and we need to claim back what belongs to us.  And because he is a thief, we should not have kind words for the thief; no one has nice words for a thief or demons.  Even the weakest man will try to fight violently to defend their families when a thief comes.  So as a child of God rise up and chase away that thief and whatever he had taken away from you should come back to your life. Even Jesus became tough to Peter, a great Apostle and when he told him get behind me Satan, because he knew that it was not Peter speaking but the devil.  We need to grow in our authority and power.  The Bible says those who know their God, they shall do exploits.  If you learn to and continue to put the devil under your feet every day, nothing on this world shall defeat you. Everything today is connected to the Spiritual world. If we fail in the Spirit, we do not succeed in the natural.  But when we learn the power, people will begin to ask you what your secret is.

If you are ready to demonstrate the Kingdom, o back to your dreams and goals that you had for this year and implement them. Do not wait for God to move. If you do not move God will not move. Go and buy without money. This year, whatever goal or dream that you have, may you see it come to pass. Step out there and God will show you the way.
